Florida Icons — Five Greeting Cards
$36.00
Five Florida icons, drawn the way the old natural-history plates drew them — engraved line, watercolour, and a botanical border on warm cream stock.
The familiar bluet on a lily pond at dusk. A black bear and her cub under a live oak. A panther in the pine flatwoods. A great egret standing in still water. And a bald eagle at sunset, with the Florida peninsula hidden in his feathers for whoever looks closely enough to find it.
No occasion is printed on any of them. The front is a plate. The inside carries the species, its scientific name, and where it lives — and the facing page is left blank for you.
They are meant to be kept.
